First Look: A Unique interactive crime fiction show – Kaun? Who did it?

The first look of this interactive crime fiction series was unveiled today with an intriguing poster featuring television star Sushant Singh who is known for his versatile performances, accompanied by film and theatre actress Samvedna Suwalka. The poster reveals a somber Sushant oozing with mystery along with a gorgeous but gritty assistant police inspector, Samvedna, as they solve complicated crime mysteries. Adding a twist to the traditional police tape, the poster invites the audience to actually cross over and become a part of the investigation. Launching on 9th January, each episode will give the viewers a chance to solve the missing pieces of the puzzle, before the protagonists reveal the killer.

Intricate cases, the thrill of a procedural crime drama and elements of engagement, make ‘Kaun? Who did it?’ a series that should definitely be on your watchlist.

Shaheer Sheikh as Veer 

Name one TV actor that we all love and adore. Uff, ab inke baremein hum kahase shuru kare? Kya andaaz hai, kya personality hai, aur kya kamal acting hai. That’s Shaheer Sheikh for you, ladies and gentlemen. Keeping aside his previous roles, he is set to mark his digital debut on ALTBalaji’s humongous period drama, Paurashpur web series. 

Actor, Shaheer Sheikh is seen in the role of a vyapari- Veer Singh. He is smart. He is dynamic. And he most definitely cannot tolerate injustice. But Veer also carries a lot of baggage from the past that happens to follow his present. What is his dark past? What is he hiding? Where did he come from? Ab ye sab toh Veer hi bata paega. 

Speaking of his character, Veer, Shaheer said in an interview, “What we are trying to tell the audience through Veer is that there were a few men who used their power and aggression to bring equality in the society, to make sure that everyone is treated equally, and women get the rights they were fighting for even in that era. That’s what I think was quite inspiring about Veer and that’s why I wanted to play this character.” 

Shilpa Shinde as Queen Meerawati 

Ye waqt hai aurton ka. Ye samay hai unke upar hone wala zulm par awaaz uthane ka. Yehi sikhane aa rahi hai Paurashpur ki sabse samajdaar aur khoobsurat sadasya. Give it up for Queen Meerawati, ladies and gentlemen. Queen Meerawati played by Bigg Boss fame, Shilpa Shinde is the oh-so-stunning lady who looks like an absolute delight in the show, Paurashpur. 

Shilpa Shinde’s poise and elegance in Paurashpur web series have become the talk of the town. In fact, her fans are so impressed by her looks that they have started comparing her to the evergreen beauty of the B-town industry, Rekha Ji. Talking to Mid-day about the comparison with Rekha Ji’s character in Utsav, Shilpa Shinde was quoted saying, “I feel we shouldn’t make a comparison between my character in ‘Paurashpur’ and Rekha Ji’s character in ‘Utsav’. A lot of things are similar between our project and ‘Utsav’ in terms of costumes, jewellery and body language of the characters, but I don’t think I can match up to the level of Rekha Ji’s character in ‘Utsav’. We have just tried to create something new.”

Superstar  Mahesh Babu, today unveiled the motion poster of the much awaited movie – Thank You Brother! Thank You Brother! is an upcoming Telugu movie directed by Ramesh Raparthi featuring Anasuya Bharadwaj and Viraj Ashwin in the lead. Tanzeel Khan releases ‘Nachdi Tu’ featuring Unnati Malharkar – The song promises to make you groove on its peppy beats

Singer-lyricist and social media content creator Tanzeel Khan released his fifth original song, ‘Nachdi tu’ on 21st December 2020 featuring social media influencer Unnati Malharkar. Nachdi Tu will make Tanzeel’s fans groove on its peppy beats (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwYbkZMOOjU) 

The songs composed in the past by Tanzeel devoted to love, care and trust, but for the very first time, he came up with a peppier composition to ensure that no one can sit straight when ‘Nachdi tu’ plays. The song was launched on the creator’s Youtube channel and choreographed by one of his closest friends and social media influencer Unnati Malharkar who is known for her dance video on her youtube channel and has thousands of followers on instagram.

Since the launch, Nachdi Tu has been receiving a lot of love from the audience.   The song has already crossed more than 8 lakh views and 123k likes on youtube and is trending on social media channels as well. Tanzeel and Unnati are managed by NOFILTR Group, India’s first influencer incubators with more than 50 content creators exclusively signed with the company.

‘Nachdi tu’ is Tanzeel’s fifth original composition. The beats of the songs will make you forget everything with its soothing melody. Tanzeel’s first song, Dilli Ki Ladki, released in March 2020 has garnered nearly 7.8 million views on his YouTube channel.

Speaking about the song, Tanzeel said, “I am very excited for the song and already overwhelming by the response received by the public. I tried my best to put all my efforts and determination to get the peppier song which I have never tried before. I believe that this song will be counted as one of the best dance songs in the 2020 list. Unnati also choreographed and got her best moves in the song and I really enjoyed working with her .”

Excited about being a part of Tanzeel’s latest track, Unnati said, “Tanzeel and I are good friends and working with him was such a pleasure and fun at the same time. Mumbai: Apeksha Films & Music and ace playback singer Shahid Mallya, release their first song together titled ‘Pulla Mainu De’. The sad romantic song has been composed and penned by Faraaz Ahmed.

“‘Pulla Mainu De’ as the title suggests is a request to the beloved to forget him. This single is for everyone because in general most of us have experienced break-up at least once in our life. The song has been beautifully written by Faraaz Ahmed. The best part of the song is the way Shahid has reflected pain and emotions in his voice. It will definitely touch the heart of listeners,” said Ajay Jaswal of Apeksha Films & Music in a statement.

Talking about the song, ace playback singer Shahid Mallya said, “‘Pulla Mainu De’ is very close to my heart. Each word of the song depicts the pain of a lover. I really enjoyed singing it.”

Peter is an emotional story of a 10 years old boy Dhanya and a baby goat.The innocent friendship between these two is heart-touching.The village people were searching for goat  for his sacrifice but due to  village fair,all the goats had been scarified and only one goat was alive who was too small for the sacrifice.They planed to scarifice that goat after raising it for 5-6 months.The raising of the baby goat comes to Dhanya who gladly accept it.Dhanya was called spiderman by everyone and his school friends called him Peter.The affection between Dhanya and the baby goat grew day by day.This made his mother to worry about him as the time to scarifice the goat was near.The scarifice of the goat was performed as a belief so that his uncle could have a baby.But soon Dhanya comes to know that his uncle could never have a kid as his aunt was taking contraceptive pills.

Why? Death is Not Justice – short film will be an inspiration for dejected artists: Santosh raj

The year 2020 has given us the most challenging times of our lifetime. The month of March brought the Corona pandemic to India which resulted in the lockdown being imposed across the country. This had paralysed lives of millions of Indians. The Television news channels had nothing to report except that of agony, loss of lives and the scare all around us. Why? Death is Not Justice – the short film is bound to inspire the depressed artistes in Bollywood.

Upcoming actor Santosh Raj who is also a producer of Why? Death is Not Justice said, “For the Bollywood industry, it came as a double punch. The shootings stopped overnight and thousands of families connected to the entertainment industry faced joblessness. So, first it was the agony of the Corona epidemic, then the mysterious circumstances around the suicide of Bollywood’s most promising actor Sushant Singh Rajput.”

2020 was truly disruptive for the country and the world, which has also broken the backbone of the Bollywood film industry which supports the livelihoods of thousands in the city of Mumbai and millions of others connected to the cinema halls, advertising agencies, painters, technicians and so on. During this period, most of the artistes who were jobless, managed to stay alive on meager means of livelihood. But there were others who chose the path of ending their lives – by committing suicide! Why? ‘Why? Death is Not Justice’  deals with this subject.

“Sushant Singh was a symbol by which the act of suicide was a bitter reality of Bollywood. The truth is because there are many artists in this story who like Sushant Singh can take the step of committing suicide at any time,” Santosh Raj mentioned.

Producer and actor Santosh Raj has penned the short story ‘Why- Death Is Not Justice!’ with the aim of alerting such desperate artists and getting them on the right path. Actor Rohit Rajawat has supported Santhosh Raj and is also playing a pivotal character in the short, as Santosh Raj’s friend.

“I think that it was very important for me to raise this subject in the kind of situation going on in the country and particularly in Bollywood. As an actor, I understand the pain of the actors, so I had to get ready to make a film on this issue to boost the morale of the artists who are going through dejection or depression,” Santosh says with an assurance that this film will inspire the downtrodden to live life anew and desperate artists will not go towards this destructive path.

Produced under the banner of Right Choice Entertainment, the film is directed by Lucky Hashmi.

Debut album “Damn. I miss you” of music composer-singer duo Abhimanyu-Pragya gets off to a flying start

MUMBAI: The first song from the debut album of young music composer-singer duo Abhimanyu-Pragya is making waves and within the first 50 hours of launch itself, it has crossed 10000 streams just on Spotify, the global leader in audio streaming. “Kyun Gaya Tu” has also got playlisted on Wynk Music’s two very popular playlists with over 20K followers – New-Age Indipop & Latest Indie. The song has also been featured on Amazon Music’s homepage under “New Hindi Music” section.

The Mumbai based duo’s first Indie album is called “Damn. I miss you” and their first song “Kyun Gaya Tu” is being distributed on all major audio platforms by Believe Music, which has signed a multi-year contract with the two promising artists. Kyun Gaya Tu’s lyrics has been penned down by Geet Sagar, track produced by Dev Arijit, and track mixed by Minar Naik.

Mumbai: Amazon Prime Video today unveiled the much-awaited trailer of the upcoming Tamil romantic musical drama Maara. Starring, talented actors R Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath, the film is directed by Dhilip Kumar and produced by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallapa under Pramod films. The Tamil film is set for an exclusive global premiere on 8th January 2021 on Amazon Prime Video across 200 countries and territories. Maara also features Alexander Babu, Shivada Nair, Mouli, Padmavati Rao and Abhirami in other prominent roles.

Taking the viewers into a picturesque world, the trailer showcases the life of Paaru (Shraddha Srinath), and how she finds a diary full of sketches and paintings in her new apartment. Awestruck by the paintings, Paaru heads out to find the artist i.e. Maara (R Madhavan). Her journey traverses through a new realm of art, music, drama, romance, hope, ensuring a soul-satisfying experience.

Talking about his role in Maara, R Madhavan said, “Maara extends from being a person to a world filled with pleasant people. The incidents and conversations these people have are grounded yet the experiences they have are surreal, and that makes the audience an interesting part of the ensemble. The role of my character has been crafted with foremost importance given to the honesty in the relationships he shares with others. And that trait makes the person as somebody that the audience falls in love with instantly. You can feel him touching lives without actually putting in an effort. To me that was the essence of this guy which got me excited to play him. The film revolves around these relationships and the beauty in sharing experiences. It’s a very sweet world to be in. And to bring this entire world to life there are some stellar performances delivered by the other members of the cast. I share a very special relationships with many of them both on and off screen and that made many of my scenes more than just memorable while making them.
