Not only that, with the support of MFK, Zee Talkies garnered the highest ever GVTs and the highest ever channel reach since its inception (GVTs – 72797, Reach -21191). By surpassing all previous records Zee Talkies stands as the No. 2 Channel of Maharashtra, ahead of leading GECs like Star Pravah and ETV Marathi*.

2014 has been a truly glorious and unprecedented year in Marathi cinema. On one hand movies like Lai Bhaari, Timepass broke all box office records and on the other, movies like Fandry and Yellow were critically acclaimed. A unique combination of the robust scheduling and exhaustive promotions coupled with a star studded night, made MFK a very special event for 2014. Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Ashok Saraf, Bharti Achrekar, Kishori Shahane, Asawari Joshi, Upendra Limaye and Subodh Bhave were some of the sparkling stars that made the night even more special. Mahesh Manjrekar, who was presenting the best film nominations made sure his poker-faced humour left the audiences in splits.
