With no formal training in music, Ankit Saraswat rose to recognition when his music single Bheegi Si Yaadein fetched a million likes & now gears for his upcoming single that will see the singer attempt new genre Sufi Rock.
Born & brought up in Agra, an MBA graduate & a lawyer by profession Ankit Saraswat, with no formal training in music & after his hit first music single, gears up for his next release introducing altogether a new genre for the music connoisseurs; Sufi Rock.
Ankit Saraswat released his first single Bheegi Si Yaadein under the renowned banner Dauji Films & Entertainment that garnered success with humongous likes & that further motivated the singer to release another single under the same banner, this time attempting Sufi Rock that will be launched the coming month.
A lawyer by profession, successfully practicing in the Capital, Ankit Saraswat’s love for music brought him to Mumbai. Ankit shares his story, “Music had always been my driving force, my passion but never thought of it as a profession. It just happened. During college, my friends coaxed me to sing for the band, after which followed performing at numerous other inter collegiate festivals.”
Commencing his music career along with his now music director friends Ankit & Divyanshu, Ankit Saraswat had no idea that his first single would be such a huge hit, “I’m grateful that my family & friends supported me enough so I could take a break from my successful career as a lawyer & polish my singing skills & explore different horizons. It has been an amazing journey. My next release is for the coming month. I’m excited.”
Ankit’s singing gave him the deserving success with his very first single itself & now the singer introduces a new music genreSufi Rock with his next single to be released by Dauji Films & Entertainment, “I didn’t want to confine to a particular genre. I wanted to do something different & that you’ll see in my next song. People will remember me for attempting Sufi Rock.”
Ankit Saraswat who is now juggling between Agra & Mumbai to keep his profession & passion alive wants to ultimately be a playback singer for Bollywood.
