Mumbai: While his peers throng Bollywood for acting, Srman Jain, the popular face of Indian Television turns Producer. 25 year old Srman jain who gathered tremendous attention for his acting talent on popular shows like “Saas Bina Sasuraal”,“Adalat” and “Dadagiri” as an anchor on UTV Bindass and also soon will be seen on the show “Yeh Hai Aashiqui” is now all set to become a producer. Srman jain’s banner Arvana productions aims to 
produce Hindi films in which Srman aims to fulfil his love for acting.
Srman kicks of his filmmaking plans with a Marathi film ‘Janiva’ with Satya Manjrekar, son of noted actor Mahesh Manjrekar, all set to play the key protagonist. The film revolves around the life of five teenagers who has strong view point over the rights and wrongs in the society along with their hyper active teenage life that involves a lot of fun, madness, enthusiasm and their crazy love for music. Compelling, profound and complex, it is a contemporary story of a teenager named Sameer Deshpande who portrays an image of a protagonist in his own different way. It is fun loving movie with a strong social message.
Srman jain also known as Silky Kumar is an National School of Drama (Delhi) trained actor and a professionally trained dancer. He has an active career on stage and TV apart from doing almost more than 50 television commercials. Srman has also done a music video for the popular High School Musical 2 which is composed by Shankar Mahadevan.
Srman’s zest for life makes him a real star that believes in his dreams and takes it in his stride to achieve them. No wonder then that the entertainment world responds in sync, as he takes the leap to success by turning a film producer.
Acting is synonymous to life for him, and about his experience he says, “The journey so far has been as good as it gets. Learning is a constant process for an actor. It’s like a healthy diet for an artist. But I have been fortunate enough to be a part of some really good projects and challenging roles both on stage and on screen, which gave me the opportunity to showcase my talents.” Srman is also popular face when it comes to Walking the Ramp or being noticed on various print ads.
“Janiva” in Marathi, spells a conscience developed through awareness and realization will be produced under the banner of ARVANA PRODUCTIONS, directed by Rajesh Ranshinge who has a phenomenal career himself when it comes to directing on television and has directed shows like Mano Ya Na Mano, Shhh…..koi hai, action thriller Krishna-Arjun and many more. Apart from this the starcast includes Kiran Karmarkar ,Indira Krishnan(Krishnaben Khakrawala fame), Renuka Sahane (Hum Aaapke hai Kaun fame) Atul Parchure etc.
