One often hears of Bollywood’s fascination with the West and of Hindi film actors raving about their Hollywood debut but Rajiv Ruia and Varun Singh have gone ahead doing the opposite. The makers have roped in The Expendables star John Delong in their forthcoming film Flames made by Heartcore Picture Pvt Ltd.
It is learnt that the International star who has done movies like Deadliest Prey, The Phoenix Rises among others will be seen playing a foreign student who lands in India to study a tribal village. “We wanted somebody who could not only depict the emotions of the character but also look very apt the role and John fit the bill perfectly. We approached him with the script and he didn’t take another thought to say yes to the film,” says producer Varun Singh .
The film is directed by Rajiv Ruia who is renowned for direction in series of films namely My friend Ganesha and Main krishna hoon.The film also stars Hrishitaa Bhatt, Hemant Pandey among others and highlights the message of women empowerment.
