Chandigarh : The 150 Environment and CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility) Professionals who Assembled from across 
India at JW Marriott for a Two Day National Meet organized by Greentech Foundation on 29th got to taste the Punjabi Culture and Music. On the first day of the conference on Wednesday night a local Punjabi Music Group—Dazzle Dance enthralled them with their choice of popular Bollywood Bhangra numbers as well as risky acts such as Balloon with LED Act. Bhangra is a popular dance form though belongs to Punjab but people all over the country consider it as their own. Such is the popularity of the dance form. And the credit goes to all the people in Punjab and Haryana, said Amolak, a delegate from Maharashtra.
It is a popular folk dance of this region performed to celebrate the harvest. It is exported not just to various states in the country but all over the world. Who doesn’t shake a leg to such a music observed another participant from Chennai.
Bhangra is fusion of music and dance . It has become integrated into popular Asian culture. It has come a long way. It is recognised and enjoyed and followed all over the world over. The influence of Bhangra is so much so that can be seen clearly in the world of Bollywood, informed Chetan Kumar.
The other acts included Dhol Baje, Ram Ji K Chal Dekho and other informed Chetan Kumar lead artist of the group. The troupe comprised of ten members performed various cultural programmes and entertained the guest for two and half hours.
The Dazzle Dance Group which shot into fame with their Balloon Act has so far given many performances across Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradeshinformed Chetan.
