Mumbai : Marathi Music Industry has personified Maharashtra’s evolving culture and has contributed best in musical talent to the Indian music industry. After having successfully hosting and felicitating the crème de la crème talent of the Marathi 
music industry, India’s favorite radio station, Radio Mirchi is back with the 2nd edition of ‘Renewgreen Mirchi Music Awards – Marathi powered by Idea’. The awards are a pioneering effort in honoring and celebrating the best in Marathi music. The musical extravaganza will be broadcast on ETV Marathi, a channel that has always delivered redefining entertainment that celebrates the Maharashtrian ethos.
Judged by an illustrious and eminent jury that includes some of the most renowned maestros and veterans from the Marathi Film & Entertainment fraternity like Suresh Wadkar, Ashok Patki, Mahesh Manjrekar, the awards are an endorsement of talent by the best in Marathi Entertainment. Suresh Wadkar, the Jury Chairperson will be shouldering the responsibility with veteran Ashok Patki as the Head of the Jury. The illustrious and reckoned jury, met on January 15th at Novotel in Mumbai to close in on nominations across 14 categories and adjudge the winners.

I got to hear some real good songs during the scanning process and feel that new talent has a huge potential in them”.

In the 2nd year, ‘Renewgreen Mirchi Music Awards – Marathi powered by Idea’ aims at being the ultimate platform for the Marathi Music Industry to come together and raise a toast to success of Marathi Music. The main event will be held on 28th January and telecast thereafter on ETV Marathi.
