After winning the hearts of the people in maharashtra, due to publishing of the existing songs of NCP, Musician Darshan Patil is gearing up his journey with the marathi and bollywood industry. “I started my journey at the age of 15 as a blogger and writer, I was a fond of music since schooling period, we and our teachers used to practice the prayers and classical songs. Including the principle of the school, all others continuously pushed us in the respective fields such as, study, personality developement, art, sport and much more.
However, my parents have a different dream for me to be an officer or a doctor. As my father (Vikas Santosh Patil) is a social worker, politician and corporator, he knows the lives of other peoples, He also wants me to do social work but by going on the good post, where, all thing will be easier to manage.
The definition of ‘new-age has been taken over by digitization. Darshan Patil considers himself as an independent artist for whom YouTube and Distribution serivces became a medium to spread his talent. Sharing his vision and idea of visibility he says, “Even though I am an independent artist, I am not really worried about the visibility as music is important for me. So people should know me for my voice not just by face and music.
When an influencer promotes a product, the company rewards the revenue. For that, you need to have some organic following and proper visibility. That makes an impact.”
He goes on, “I love music and that’s why I do. That thought reaches people. I don’t consciously use my graph or popularity to capitalize anything. I just take what comes on the way.
Being a huge part of music, He is also a founder and member of 3 companies. Factdarshan Times (News and Media), Factdarshan Music (Record Label/ Company), Aarthvikas Foundation (NGO- Board Member).
Recently he has tied up with pradeshik music, there, he will release all his upcoming songs with the popular marathi artists. Darshan Says, “I take whatever surprise comes on the way.
Bollywood and marathi industry is one such dream. Right now I am focused on my YouTube and Distribution creating independent music. If I have to start from scratch someday again, I guess I would be very comfortable around there in that way.”
