The news of ace director Rahul Gupta’s upcoming web series “Made for Each Other” took the whole internet by storm. After encountering those gusty days full of rejection and dismay, Rahul Gupta embarked on his journey of making films by directing videos for Laughing Colours.
The videos were insane and went viral in a short time, bestowing a shower of success on Rahul Gupta. He then directed an amazing series called “Beer Boys & Vodka Girls.” Before we could stumble on what next he would bring, the director announced, “Made for Each Other.”
A little about the series: The story of Made for Each Other revolves around a couple who are in a live-in relationship. But their bond weakens and seeing the gloomy situation, they decide to part ways. But, when the lockdown is announced and they are trapped inside a flat, things change dramatically once more. You will soon find out the remaining story once the series is out!
The main buzz around the series is about the song “Main aur Tum.” This song is special because it is sung by Bollywood’s most astounding singer, Ankit Tiwari. (The song essays the breakup scene between the couple). It describes the state of pain that comes from separation.
Here’s what the singer, Ankit Tiwari, says: “When Rahul approached me for the song, I was already occupied with my other projects and I was not sure about doing it. But when he narrated the concept of the web series and told me the situation of the song, I was impressed. I decided to sing for the web series just after listening to the story. Rahul has indeed made a very good romantic series.”
Even the director, Rahul Gupta, commented on his experience of working with Ankit Tiwari. He says, “It is my pleasure and dream come true to work with the legendary musician Ankit Tiwari. I personally feel that no one can justify the song better than Ankit Sir. He is a very genuine and humble person with immense talent. I am grateful to God that he agreed to sing the song for my web series.”
Rahul Gupta has already completed shooting the web series “Made for Each Other.” He will soon start working on his next project next month.
