Ethan Gontar is an Israel-based musician, composer, producer, and a singer-songwriter who primarily records covers and original songs with a strong foundation in acoustic folk styles, classical, Pop, and electronic music.
Ethan Gontar, cooperated with the Israeli musician Shay Vagner, and today they introduced to this world the song “Wildest Dreams”.
Shay Vagner is an Israeli indie musician and singer-songwriter. He usually writes pop, indie, acoustic, and folk music.
Shay Vagner met Ethan Gontar in high school and they started to work as a musician duo in 2019.
The song describes a relationship that wasn’t mutual, the woman didn’t feel the same way as the man did.
The man feels that the woman doesn’t give him the love he deserves, and it’s making him weak, and everything suddenly seems so weird.
He starts to recollect all of the wildest dreams that came true and the ones that they planned for the future to come.
He talks about the deep connection that they had, his strong feelings that don’t align with hers.
The video clip starts with a video from an old tape of the couple in their childhood and between them is a map of the world, a toy plane and a toy van.
Ever since they were little kids their wildest dream was to fly all over the world, rent a van and explore the world.
Going forward in the video clip, they are seen as a grown up couple and their relationship isn’t so glamorous by the lyrics and the clip’s photos.
Later, despite everything that had happened, they choose to try and fulfill their wildest dream which is flying and exploring the world together. That trip is the savior of their relationship. At the end of the video clip it can be seen that in spite of everything that had happened, they have grown old and happy together.

Q. How was the filming process and experience behind the video?
Every time we plan a new video clip, we think about everything. Why, how, where.
We always go out for a shooting day with our team that helps us produce everything, and we have excellent chemistry together.
Is it hot? Cold? Awkward? It doesn’t matter to us. Everything that matters to us is the goal, and how we reach it.
After a long day of filming, we eagerly go into the editing room. And from there, the magic begins.

Q. What else is happening next in Ethan Gontar’s and Shay Vagner’s world?
We plan to create new stuff, also make some new cover versions, travel around the world and try to capture the best frames for us.
As we always say, let the music take the wheel.
We plan to do more collaborations, some of them are already known , and some are still unknown. Smile to the world and the world will smile back.
Q. Any tips that you follow to stay creative?
When we are working on a new project, we like to fully concentrate, which means coffee on the side, a pen that writes well, and lots of energy to sit for hours on the chair in front of the table. We believe that the songs that come from the heart come easily on the page, and that’s what’s beautiful about music!
