Bangalore: CapitaLand’s wholly owned lodging business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott), bags the biggest awards amongst serviced residence players sweeping three accolades at three consecutive award ceremonies organised by ET Now in association with Stars Of The Industry Group.
Citadines OMR Chennai, managed by The Ascott Limited, was awarded ‘Best Hotel Apartment of the Year’ at the ET Now Business Leader of the Year Awards and was the only hospitality brand to be awarded in this forum. The 269-unit apart’hotel that opened in 2017, has consistently been driving service excellence and sustainable hospitality practices.
Mr Richard Barooah, General Manager of Ascott Ireo City Gurugram was awarded the title ‘Hospitality Superstar’ at the Stars of the Industry Awards for his contribution to service excellence in the hospitality industry. While, at the ET Now Seventh World Women Leadership Congress and Awards, Ms Supriya Malhotra, Ascott’s City Manager for Chennai was awarded the ‘Woman Leadership Award for Excellence in Hospitality and Tourism’.
