Mumbai : Ace dancer and choreographer Shakti Mohan, who is debuting as an actor for her first Bollywood film Remo D’Souza’s 3, has launched her first documentary film ‘A Revolt’, featuring Shakti Mohan created by Silvercord films in association with Nritya Shakti.
Last night many celebrities like actor Mohena Singh, Dancer Dharmesh Yelande, Neeti Mohan and Mukti Mohan came for the screening and to support Shakti Mohan.
Based on the life of ‘Shakti Mohan’, ‘The Revolt’ is not just about dance, but also about hard work and surviving. The difficulties of daily life that she struggles to earn for, her capability of taking criticism, and the formation of her career are all well-knit parts of the plot, and this overall view of her life is what makes ‘the revolt’ so special. This story of a woman, who from a ‘nobody’ became a ‘somebody’ is a true inspiration. This story does not only inspires us but makes us grateful for something we all take for granted – life.
