Delhi’s very own food journey will bring the culinary delights of Old Delhi, from December 22-30, at Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place
Everything that is the Taste of Delhi; From Delhi’s very own Chaat Pakodi, Bedmi Pudi, Mutton Barrah to Delhi’s very own adaptation of popular foods, Punjabi Noodles, Khurchan Pizza, Tadka Pasta, Meetha Kulcha, the 7th ‘Dilli ke Pakwaan’, Delhi’s very own happy and colorful food journey opened up to large audiences today at Emporia Complex, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place. The festival that aims at bringing the culinary delights of Old Delhi with the fusion of popular foods from across the world & its Indian adaptations, will run from December 22 to December 30.
‘Dilli Ke Pakwaan’ organized by National Students Talent Association, is under the aegis of Delhi Government.
Talking about ‘Dilli Ke Pakwaan’, Sh. Manish Sisodia, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi said, “Dilli ke Pakwaan brings the real taste of Delhi to the people of Delhi and beyond. It is a must visit for all food lovers and foodies of the city, including me.”
Some of the most renowned Traditional vendors from Purani Dilli and other parts of India like Badri Prasad Gaya Prasad, Daulat ki Chaat, Khan Mughlai Kebab, Taaj NonVeg (Agra), Kuremal Kulfi (since 1906) and various others are showcasing their expertise in whipping up some of the choicest delicacies, famous for Chaat Pakodi, Bedmi pudi, Soya Chaap, Fish Fry, Mutton Barrah, Shahi Muglai, Veg Biryani, Navratan Korma, Chicken Malai Tikka, Mutton Pasanda, Mutton Nihari, Dum Biryani, Shahi Tukda, Daulat ki Chaat Jalebi, Kulfi flooda, and a lot more at the festival.
The festival also features activities for everyone in the family- Eating competition, Painting competition, Foodie Selfie contest, Selfie Points Everyday along with Celebrity Talks, Cultural Performances & Foodie games.
