Manu Seen and his young and talented Son Rishabh Seen with Tabla Maestro Pt. Ram Kumar Mishra and his young son Rahul Kumar Mishra and Young Tabla Sensation Pt. Anubrata Chatterjee and Pt. Shubh Maharaj cast magical spell with their spectacular Sitar-Tabla jugalbandi.

Pandit Manu seen ,a Top Grade artist of All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan, is one of the Finest Sitarists and an internationally established artist of young generation in the country. The foremost Shagird of the world renowned Sitar Maestro Respected Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan of Etawah Gharana. Manu is well Known for his extremely energetic, vibrant and soulful Sitar Playing – combined with praise worthy Knowledge of subtle techniques and his mastery over the Sitar, bandishes & Rasas.. Pt. Ram Kumar Mishra is one of the top ranking exponents of Tabla in India. He is the grandson of Tabla wizard late Pt. Anokhe Lal Mishra and son of legendary vocalist Padma Bhushan Pt. Chhannu Lal Mishra. Ram Kumar Mishra has started his “Tabla Talim” from his mother Smt. Manorama Mishra, Daughter of Pt. Anokhe Lal ji at the age of 4. Highly gifted Ram Kumar ji has performed throughout the length and breadth of India as a solo artist and as an accompanist to almost all the top musicians and covering all major music festival. He has been conducted more than 30 workshops, lecture demonstration all over the world. He regularly performs as a solo artist or with maestros.

the great guru, Padmabhushan – Deshkottam Jnan Prakash Ghosh in 1992. Subsequently, Anubrata continued his training under the gifted tutelage of his father.
Shubh was born in 1987 in a musical family of tabla maestro pt. Kishan Maharaj as his grandson. His father Pt. Shankar is a renowned Kathak dancer, naturally Shubh got music in his blood by his both families. As the heritage passes on, Shubh formally became his grandpa’s “Ganda bandh shaagird” in 1993 The sadhna and practice began and the time changed the relation of grandpa and grandson into teacher and pupil (guru and shishya). In 2000 Shubh gave his first tabla solo performance as a child up-coming tabla player at a tender age of 12 and after that he got the privilege to play at the big stages of Indian classical music festivals of India . He is lucky to perform in front of Legends such as Pt. Ravi Shankar, Ustad Amzad Ali Khan, Pt. Rajan Sajan Mishra, Pt. Viswa and got their blessings. He is also appreciated and blessed by senior Tabla players like Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pt. Kumar Bose and Pt. Anindo Chatterjee.
Pt. Manu Seen and Rishabh Seen began recital with the quiet dignity of the methodical and reposeful aalap in Raga Jhinjhoti.This was followed by jod-alap and jod-jhala which were a variant of the usual Sitar playing. The duo was impressive in establishing a rapport with the receptive audience. They concluded with Dhun. The Duos were well accompanied by Pt. Ram Kumar Mishra & Rahul Kumar Mishra on Tabla. That concluded the jugalbandi of Sitar and Tabla amidst thunderous applause.
Thereafter the celebrated Duo Sh. Anubrata Chatterjee & Sh. Shubh Maharaj took the centre stage. The duo made an impressive display of unique rhythmic patterns. They presented special classics of their respective gharanas before the detailed delineation of specialized technique and performances of the Maestroes of the famous gharanas of Tabla sticking to only teentaal. They won applause for every move on the stage. Sh. Rajendra Banerjee ably accompanied them on harmonium.
Kendra’s Registrar Dr. Shobha Koser and Secretary Shri Sajal Koser and Tabla Maestro and a noted tabla teacher, Pt. Govind Chakraborty honoured the artists.
