Goa : The Bollywood actress plays divinity herself in an international film ‘Block 12’ directed by Kyriacos Tofarides.
Chandra says about her role: “This script was written five years back. ‘This is my first international film and I play an Indian goddess in the film. It’s a beautiful love story”.
She says that the film industry in India is much richer than the Greek counterpart.
When asked if she liked the weather in Greece more than the weather in India, the actress quipped:“What matters is the character I play. That is what I enjoy”.
Speaking about his film Tofaridez said that he chose the actress from the suggestions made by his Indian co-producers.
“My co producers are in India they suggested me some actress and then I selected her,” explaining how Chandra ended up in the film.
He also said that he was familiar with Bollywood films and that he was particularly impressed with ‘Mother India’.
