New Delhi ; A Punjab-based NGO today moved Supreme Court challenging the Bombay High Court order on the film ‘Udta Punjab’. On Monday, The Bombay High Court had cleared the release of movie ‘Udta Punjab’, whose makers were locked in a dispute with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
A division bench of the court had directed the CBFC to certify the film within 48 hours to enable the makers to release it on its schedule this Friday. The court directed the makers of the film to delete one scene and to display a revised disclaimer.
