Shinma, it is natural that you may jump to the conclusion that it is also a glitzy film but it is not. It is an attempt by director Milind Arun Kavade to present something which is different from the others and stands out in a crowd of potboilers as it has always been his attempt to show something out of the box and uniquely different.. With Shinma, Milind Arun Kavade has set out to make a film which not only entertains you but also drives home a subtle message to the society at large. Shinma being made under the banner of Vedaant Entertainment by producer Aanil Joshi is all set for release all over Maharashtra on November 27 this year.
Shinma has a story which is set in a remote village. It is about how a unit reaches a village to shoot their film. It is such an ill fated village where even water is difficult to get as there is a drought. The film sets out to show the travails of the unit while shooting the film there in humorous style and in the process the film also shows reality in Maharashtra in some remote villages.The film boasts of out of the box content, brilliant screenplay, incisive dialogues, performances of the first order, lovely picturisation of various locales, expert handling of the scenes by the director, catchy and soulful music and whats more grand production values.
As the film is contemporary, Milind Kavade says that care has been taken to see to that it does not border around preaching even though it has set out to drive home poignant message to the society as the primary aim of the film is to entertain the audiences . I have just set out to present a slice of life as far as rural Maharashtra is concerned. The attempt t is to infuse humor into serious proceedings on. As there is ample water in the city, people there do not realize the importance or value of water, but people in villagers trek miles to get water and know how valuable it is in their day to day lives. The film is about how the urban people realize the obstacles the villagers face as far as procuring water is concerned and how they tackle the situation.
Aanil Joshi who is basically an engineer by profession says that he decided to make a film like Shinma which is cinema within cinema only because he has been driven by his passion for cinema right from childhood. I hail from Nagar and hence I am quite aware of reality surrounding not only the rural villages 
but also cities. I liked the subject when it was narrated to me because besides entertaining the audiences, the film also sets out to drive home a very subtle message. I am very confident that the audiences will like the film as it will connect with every one, whether old or young equally.
Milind Kavade, Ashok Jhagde and Prakash Bhagwat have written the subject of Shinma. While Milind himself has also written the screenplay of the film, the dialogues have been written by Sagar Wankhede and Deepak Dubey. Shinma stars Ajinkya Deo, Yatin Karyekar, Kishori Shahane, Vijay Patkar, Ganesh Yadav, Arun Kadam, Sanskruti Balgude, Gurleen Chopra, Jaywant Wadkar, Anshuman Vichare, Saurabh Gokhale, Abhijit Chavan, Aashish Pawar, Digambar Naik, Ananada Karekar, Nisha Parulekar etc in key roles, besides of course Ganesh Acharya, who has also danced with Gurleen Chopra for an item number Chimni Udali Bhurbur, which by the way is already quite popular in social media. The film has the renowned cinematographer from down South- Santanio Terezeo cranking the camera. The film has five songs, written by lyricists like Jai Atre, Rahul Salve and Sagar Wankhede and sung by Anand Shinde, Kavita Nikam, Dipali Sathe, Rohit Raut, Manish Rajgire and Adarsh Shinde in different moods composed by Varun Likhate and Rohan-Rohan. Shinma being made under the banner of Vedaant Entertainment by producer Aanil Joshi is all set for release all over Maharashtra on November 27 this year.
