Hyderabad: Dandiya Queen, Phalguni Phatak to perform live in city on 4th October at 7pm at Imperial Gardens, Secunderabad. 
Organised joinlty by Nimantran, a Hospitality venture, Surya-Events and Decors and Swastik Events, the event is organised to in aid of charity for Jaycess & Jayceerettes of JCI Hyderabad Royals.
Phalguni Phatak will be performing along with 22 member troupe. She is coming to city after a gap of nearly a decade. It will be high voltage performance said Sudershan Singh, Pratap Jadeja and Visha Bohra, the organisers.
She is going to enthrall 3000 plus Dandiya enthusiasts.
Phalguni Phatak has large fan base in twin cities. Her albums are famous for both melodious songs as well as very interesting loves stores. Some of her popular songs include “Chudi jo khanki haath ma”, “Maine payal hai chhankai”, “Meri chunar udd udd jaye”,”Ayi pardesh se pariyon ki rani”, etc. She is quite popular with Gujarati community.
Her music is based on traditional musical forms. The theme of most of her songs is always love. She has performed all over India and many venues abroad. She appeared in television shows such as Kaun Banega Croirepati, Star Dandiya Dhoom and Comedy Night with Kapil and others.
Her powerful voice and energetic performances are backed by a band (called Ta Thaiyaa) that can go up to eighteen members. She gained popularity in India as an entertainer for the Navratri (nine nights) celebration.
