Suman’s directorial debut ‘Heartless’, it was an incredibly emotional moment for everyone present at the Trailor launch of the film.
Amitabh Bachchan spent some quality time with Shekhar & his family & shared timeless moments while sharing a very heartfelt positive feedback of the film. With Producer Alka Suman giving Amitabh Bachchan a very colourful flowerful welcome, the millennium’s biggest superstar mentioned that he is extremely glad to be a part of the first look of the Shekhar’s maiden venture and that after witnessing the trailor, it doesn’t seem that this piece of brilliance called ‘Heartless’ is Shekhar’s first directorial film venture.

Adhyayan Suman was at his confident best and shared his proud moment stating “More than success in life, I always wished God to give him an opportunity to do something to make his parents feel proud about & today I really thank God for making him a part of this phenomenal experience called ‘Heartless’. The entire journey has helped me evolve into a much better person & this learning is priceless…Heartless is not just a film but a life changing experience for me.”
Ariana Ayam, the leading lady opposite Adyayan Suman looked gorgeous at her first public appearance had lot of heads turning.
Entire ‘Heartless’ team marked their presence during the trailer launch, with every member of the film taking pride in sharing their unforgettable experiences during the making of this special project called ‘Heartless’.
“Direction is the final destination of every actor whether it is Clint Eastwood, Ben Affleck, George Clooney, Tom Cruise or Aamir Khan”, says Shekhar Suman, the first superstar of Indian Television, as he gears up for the biggest challenge of his life, his directorial debut ‘Heartless’, a romantic thriller that deals with the extremely emotional subject of Anaesthesia Awareness.

Known for his razor sharp wit and repartee’s Shekhar in person is diametrically opposite to what people know of him. Says Shekhar, “Heartless has a slice of my heart in it.The film is dedicated to my elder son Aayush whom I lost to an incurable heart disease. It was a huge emotional experience for me to direct and act with my son Adhyayan for the first time… he is a very sensitive and an intense actor and is the heart and soul of the film.Today, with the fast changing lives & lifestyles, when most of us are becoming heartless one way or the other, I’ve tried to make a film that will hopefully touch many hearts.”
The film also deals with the sensitive ‘mother-son relationship’ that has not been seen in Indian cinema since a long time. The film stars debutante Ariana Ayam along with the evergreen queen of emotions Deepti Naval, Om Puri in a never seen before avataar and Madan Jain. Says Shekhar, “It’s my biggest honour to direct three of the finest actors in the Industry, Om Puri , Deepti Naval and Madan Jain. I’ve introduced a new girl Ariana, who has in her the makings of a great actress and I’m sure she will go a long way.”
Shekhar exemplifies the idiom of being like fine wine, getting better with age & experience. He is as excited as an anxious newcomer, adds Shekhar, “Direction is my calling and my new poison. If you want to evolve, you never stop trying… as they say a rolling stone gathers no moss.”
With such a grandeur opening, All’s well that begins well.
