Milind Arun Kavade has always made it a point to make films which are not only entertaining but also set out to tackle some pertinent social issue or the other and Just Gammat is also no exception to the rule. Just Gammat has an undercurrent of day to day life handled in a ticklish manner and is sure to appeal to people of all ages.
Presented by Sharad Kumar Shrivastav and produced under the banner of Silver Screen Entertainment, Just Gammat written as well as directed by Milind Arun Kavade deals with two friends, who meet each other one day. Though initially they start boasting about how happily they are married to each others spouses, soon in a state of inebriation, they start confessing about the bitter lives that they are leading and start plotting quite dangerously on how to get rid of their nagging wives. How they set out to go about their job leading them to bizarre situations is what the film is all about.
Dialogueseh and to waht to day life and how they affect a person’ right from the tiny tots have been written by Prakash Bhagwat for the film which stars Sanjay Narvekar, Jitendra Joshi, Smita Gondhkar, Aditi Sarangdhar etc supported by Jaywant Wadkar, Atul Thodankar, Vijay Patkar, Sanjay Kulkarni, Dinesh Hingoo, Aarti Solanki, Arun Kadam, Ananda Karekar, Jayaraj Nair, Prakash Bhagwat, Nayan Jadhav, Dipjyoti Naik and Deepak Shirke.
Just Gammat is an out and out hilarious comedy which will set out to cater to all kinds of audiences right from the tiny tots to the old and has ingredients which have mass appeal. Says Milind Arun Kavade, The film is about how various incidents happen in your day to day life and how they affect a persons mind seriously and to what extent they will drive him to do anything forms the crux of the story of the film.
Among the songs in the film are Tujhya Vina Sune, a love song, Bewada Bewada, an item number and the title song Just Gammat which comes twice in the film and helps to increase the pace of the film. Music Director Nitin Kumar Gupta has set to tune the songs written by Mandar Cholkar, Deepak Angewar and Francis. The songs have been sung by playback singers Swapnil Bandodkar, Sunidhi Chauhan, Avdhoot Gupte etc, while the item number has been picturised on Heena Panchal.
Rajesh Bidwe has choreographed the dances while the cameraman Samla Bhaskar has shot exotic locations like picture post cards. Salil Amrute has scored the background music for the film while Vaishali Deshmukh has designed the costumes. Santosh Phutane is the Art Director. Lakshman Jadhav has worked on the make up while Vijay Kochikar has edited it. In Just Gammat, you will get to see a wholesome entertainment coupled with lavish production values, excellent acting, exotic locales and mind-boggling choreography and catchy and melodious music.
