Mumbai :BIBA Girls, a dedicated range from BIBA catering to young girls aged between 2 to 12 years, unveiled its Spring Summer collection for 2015 at India Kids Fashion Week 2015, held in Mumbai on 20th February, 2015. This is the third season of IKFW while BIBA is collaborated with them for the first time given the huge response the event drew in its last season. Renowned Model cum Anchor Rochelle Rao walked the ramp along with the kids for BIBA. The exclusive collection was unveiled at the opening of the fashion show with a total of 36 little divas walking the ramp, showcasing varied range of BIBA Girls collection for the season.
Themed around Magical Fairytale World, the entire collection and ambience was done keeping the fairytale world of little fairies in mind,where everything is livelier, extraordinary and magical!The inspiration for this bright and beautiful range has been the wonderland in which the little lasses live in – a world full of angels, fairies, princesses and whole lots of magic. Summertime has always been related to childhood and happiness and this unique collection is a perfect companion for your baby doll this summer season. Everything in terms of designs, fabrics, motifs etc. has been kept in mind for this specially crafted range.
With an interesting mix of elegant fabrics in shades of pinks, peaches, sage and limes, the range offered varieties in the form of long mesh gowns, shimmery lehengas, kurtas with churidars, patialas and funky casual dresses. The hour long fashion show saw 36 kids walking the ramp in 4 different groups delineating the collection:
Round 1 saw attractive dresses in black and white collection with quirky neon prints to cheer the sunny days. The clothes had endearing Kathputli and Mughal chintz print inspired from the Indian heritage.
2nd Round was a formal range with bright and pretty ethnics adorned with beautiful gotapatti and other adornments. Bejeweled necklines, delicate embroideries and gold printing on luxedupions with shimmery brocades and sheer chanderies, this collection had everything to transport every young girl to a fairyland.
The 3rd round comprised of ample of colorful and playful prints in interesting patterns. It had a wide range of salwar kameez dupatta sets, tunics, summer casuals, ghaghracholi, printed pants etc. to dress up the little diva in style.
The final round was a complete stunner with long flowy gowns and dresses which completely transformed the cute girls walking the ramp into little princesses with a charm of their own.
