Dance Central to spin the magic of dance yet again with its second edition “BRING IT ON 2” giving a visual treat to the audience with their spectacular dance moves
Last year, students of Dance Central, one of Mumbai’s leading Latin Dance Schools, took to the stage and wowed the crowd with their moves, poise and attitude. And this weekend it’s time for another evening of magic on stage, with Dance Central’s second annual show. “BRING IT ON 2” is a performance showcase of what students have learned at Dance Central. With Twenty-one students putting up 12 performances ranging from Salsa, Cha Cha, Rueda and some surprises are definitely in store as well. Many are back for their second time under the spotlight, but for others this will be their first time on stage, dancing in front of an audience.
Dance Central’s holds vision to create a platform of opportunities for dancers, to highlight their journey of learning and sometimes unlearning too. And “BRING IT ON 2” is yet another step in fulfilling that dream.
For months now, students have been training in dance, presentation, photography, acting and body conditioning to bring their best out on the stage. Mumbai’s Latin Dance culture is no longer a new phenomenon and is growing in leaps and bounds. Vineet Bangera, the Founder of Dance Central is one of the earliest students and teachers in Mumbai. Despite conducting classes for years, Vineet still considers himself a student and is always learning from his students and peers alike. The annual show is his way of providing a platform for students who often battle questions about their choice to learn dance for months and years on end. This is his way of giving back to the field that has made him all that he is today.
Vineet Bangera talks about the upcoming dance extravaganza, “This is the second edition of Bring it on and I am pretty much excited about it. Our students will be showcasing their spectacular dance moves. I basically wish to spread my passion for dance in India & enhance the social acceptance & cultural awareness of dance through Dance Central.”
Working towards making dance a mainstream and not just a hobby, Vineet concludes, “At Dance Central we are not just teachers who teach dance, but educate, enhance, inspire, motivate & prepare people for better living.”
Vineet Bangera sure does work hard being a dance entrepreneur by bringing it on!
Students of Dance Central
Dance Central not just a dance school, it is a family, which focuses on building relationships through dance. Our students they find new ways to feel free, to express themselves, to live through the music and to dance like no one’s watching — all while discovering a new version of themselves.
Most performers are working professionals from across fields by day and dance addicts by night. Many signed up to learn dance as a stress buster and found themselves hooked and a part of the Dance Central family.
