Hyderabad : Thousands joined in Raahgiri on fourth Sunday today. Among highlight include Art Competition on Road Safety by Transport Department, Government of Telangana.
Mr. Mahender Reddy, Transport Minister of Telangana Govt graced the funtion and rode a bicycle.
It is a four week Art Competition organised to create awareness informed. Sandeep Kumar Sultanaia was posted as transport department commissioner. The best painting out of the four weeks will be presented to Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao, he informed. 80 per cent of Road Accidents occur due to the mistakes of the drivers. We wanted to create lot of awareness to the drivers, Sandeep informed.
We also need to improve roads, blaCK spots on the roads, which are causes for acciedents needs to be removed. Road Engineering needs to be improved, Sandeep said.
20 artists amateurs and professionals participated in the competition. It event was coordinated by Hydourite. The response was overwhelming. Nearly hundred amateurs, students, children and professionals have participated in the same. The messages and art works painted too were impressive. The one “Last Call— was simply superb.

Dr. Subashini from Kukatpally volunteered to teach all visitors Hoola Hoops. She performed continuously as well as taught many the fine art of Hoola Hooping which she says is good both for entertainment and pysical fitness. You can burn 200 calories in just 20 minutes hoola hooping she said.
