Mumbai : Short films of three to five minutes will have the chance to win Rs. 1,00,000/- at BASF’s upcoming Creator Space™, a global co-creation event which will begin its tour in Mumbai. The focus of the winning short film will include a topic related to Mumbai’s water challenges.
The Creator Space™tour, comprising a week-long series of co-creation activities, will take place this coming January as part of BASF’s global 150thanniversary program. During the event, participants will seek solutions for today’s and tomorrow’s challenges, with a special focus on the topic of water in Mumbai.
As part of Creator Space™, BASF has partnered with Yogi Chopra of the 48 Hour Film Project, for a Video Contest entitled“Wat(er) is the matter?” The contest aims to encourage filmmakers, students and the general public in Mumbai make a three- to five-minute documentary film around 14 identified topics.
The submission deadline is Monday, December 29, 2014. The best film will win a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/-. The winning film will be screened at the Prince of Wales Museum on January 20, 2015.
Film should be shot in High Definition (HD) resolution, using DSLR, Point & Shoot or mobile phone cameras. The minimum resolution for the film is 1920×1080.
