Hyderabad : Hydourite Smiles, a fun filled day out was organized for two hundred underprivileged children from various Orphan homes here in city at Basera in Secunderabad on Sunday. Organsied as its 5th Activity which is the part of the 100 Day Hydourite Festival.
It is the fun filled day in the lives of underprivileged kids infomred Ramakrishna Achanta, Trustee of Hydourite Foundation. They were treated like guest, fed lavishly with sumptuous meal, engaged with fun and frolic acivities, music, entertainment and made them feel good. They were also given away a goodie bag containing 18 branded and useful items, informed C.S. Manoj, another Trustee of Hydourite Foundation.
A goodie bag of goods worth Rs 1750/- each totaling to 3.5 lakhs contained branded goods such as a custom made good quality School Bag; Two T-Shirts.; Three Note Books 200 pages.; Pencils: Box of 10 pencils; one Pencil Pouch; five Home Made Chocolates; one each Hand and Bath Towel; one Smiley Ball; one Camlin Oil Pastels 25 Shades Set; one Camlin Geometry Box; one Steel Scale.; one Water Bottle; two Biscuit Packets; one Toothbrush & Toothpaste Set, one Comb; three Gel Pens; four Note pads; one Chota Bheem series complete Masks Set. This is Hydourite way of saying Happy New Year to these kids informed Capt Anand, Trustee of Hydourite.
The entertainment and performances programme planned to engage them include Magic Show, Talking Doll and mimicry. The games and activities include Face Painting, Balloon Twister, Inflatable Bouncees, Hoopla, Kids Bowling, Darts, MC organized fun games and other kids engaging activities. All in all we made this day most memorable in these kids’ lives, which I am sure they will cherish for their lifetime added Manoj.
The donations for the goodie bag have been raised from philanthropic individuals as well companies including corporate like ITC, Alliance Global Services, Camlin, Genpact, GreenGold Animation etc. Basera Hotel sponsored the lunch for these kids.
These various NGos from these kids were drawn are Orphan homes. These NGOs include Sphoorti Foundation; Valmiki Foundation; Little Hearts Orphanages; Centre for Social Services; Sishu Vihar; Wordsover India Charitable Trust and Yashoda Foundation.
“It was very touching to these underprivileged kids. What they have experienced here is beyond explanation”. It can only be felt. We thank Hydourite Foundation Surya Ganesh of Valmiki Foundation. Seeing kids being kids was a pure joy. Looks like almost all of these kids entered into a star hotel for the first time in their life. Thanks to Hotel Basera and Hydourite said Raju from a NGO.
