Mumbai: ASUS recently participated in the 10th ACMA (Ahmedabad Computer Merchants Association) IT exhibition in Ahmedabad and has received extremely good feedback from visitors of the expo. The exhibition took place from the 5th to 7th December at Sabarmati Riverfront and attracts visitors from all walks of life such as students, dealers, corporate buyers, government buyers, etc. ASUS’s participation aimed at an opportunity to explore new channel base in Gujarat and increase awareness about ASUS’s latest range of component and peripheral products to end users and corporate buyers alike.
Commenting on the event, Mr. Vinay Shetty, Country Head, Open Business Group said, “It’s tough to reach out and educate the customer of your products, especially when you have such a diverse range of offerings. That’s the reason I feel exhibitions like ACMA, which is the largest and most active exhibitions in Gujarat, is the right platform for getting our message across. It’s a chance to get your hands dirty with our entire range of offerings be it motherboards, LCD, media players or gaming mice and I’m glad we could leverage such a platform to inform and educate new customers.”
The ASUS stall was spread across three booths which allowed visitors to comfortably view and experience the latest offerings. The motherboard section had the latest X99-series on display which included the X-99 Deluxe and Rampage V Extreme, along with other high-end 9-series motherboards. The Strix GTX 980 was one of the big talking points during the exhibition as well. There were live demo machines setup for the ASUS Chromebox, Vivo PC and O!Play TV media player. The ASUS Strix line of peripherals was another big hit as visitors couldn’t get enough of the Strix DSP and Pro gaming headsets. Gaming peripherals in general received very high interest and the ROG Gladius mouse wowed audiences with its dexterity and rich feature set. Apart from generating a lot of interest, there were a sizeable number of spot bookings as well across the product line which made this yet another highly successful exhibition.
