Mumbai : The AP Group, pioneers in retail and distribution of international luxury brands in India, today hosted an exclusive event showcasing the latest collection of Dior Timepieces to their customers at their premium South Bombay address in Breach Candy. Actors Huma Quereshi and Elli Avram and Olympian swimmer and Arjuna Awardee Rehan Poncha joined AP Group Director Hamza Patel at the very chic evening that brought guests of the store into the luxurious world of Dior Horlogerie, and pampered them in a Dior environment while they discover Dior’s watchmaking virtuosity.
This event focused on some of the finest pieces of Dior’s artistic watchmaking – particularly the Dior Grand Bal collection, which carried the patented Inverse Caliber from the house of Dior and Dior Christal Mysterieuse, with its hidden movement, an ode to Dior’s mastery in complicated and creative timepieces.
With a successful multi-brand store located on one of the world’s busiest high streets, Linking Road, Watches of Switzerland has now introduced an all-new store at Breach Candy. The brand’s new store is positioned as more niche, with higher entry and average price points, exclusive and luxurious brands, and the store’s interiors have been designed to create a consumer experience that will be significantly richer.
Says Hamza, “Just as we have seen the consumer’s awareness of luxury watches grow over the last few years, it is our goal that through events such as these, where consumers get to interact closely with luxury brands, and deepen their understanding of these products, ‘Watches of Switzerland’ will take the luxury watch buying experience to the next level and become more than just a ‘watch store’.”
Watches of Switzerland will aim to bring a richer, more modern and immersive experience to the consumer through various integrations with technology, including online catalogues, I-pad trays, online profiles to networking events such as cigar/poker nights, tete-a-tetes with leading experts in watchmaking, design and luxury and more.
