Bengaluru : Bengaluru’s most anticipated educational mega fair, ‘Career Utsav 2014’ organized by Fuel Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd, was inaugurated by the youth icon and India’s bestselling author, Chetan Bhagat at the NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bangalore.
The fair saw an overwhelming response from the students and as well as the parents who registered themselves and answered the mock CET and Psychometric tests to assess themselves and train better. The students participated in different workshops organized at the event. The event saw education giants like SRM University, Alliance University, MVJ College of Engineering, etc from across the country come together to support Career Utsav. Renowned brands like State Bank of India and TVS Motors also joined hands to educate students who are at a crossroad in their career after class 12th.
Chetan Bhagat, who was the inaugural speaker and also the Guest of Honour for the event, addressed the young audience and asked them to follow their heart and intuition. He narrated how he himself quit his investment banking career to pursue his love for writing and advised everyone to focus on their interest.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chetan Bhagat said, “It is important that you don’t get into the wrong stream or profession. Not only you will do things half-heartedly, but will not grow as a person. So chase your passion, what you love to do. Get out of your comfort zone and work hard towards honing your skills. Get into the best institution and I think Career Utsav is the best place to start searching. Under one roof you can explore different possibilities and narrow down to what’s best suited for you”.
Commenting on the event, Mr. Pradeep Naik, Founder and CEO of Fuel Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd., said, “We could not have been more proud. This is the third edition of Career Utsav and the response we get never fails to surprise us. The feedback we received in the previous editions helped us come back with a bigger and better event this year. The grand success of Career Utsav has now led the event being extended to Mangalore this year. The third edition of ‘Career Utsav’ has been designed to provide a platform to offer the best to aspiring students who want to achieve something in life and carve a niche position for themselves in the society”.
“The main purpose of Career Utsav is to help students pursue their dreams instead of giving in to the highly underestimated parental, peer pressure and get misguided to an unsuccessful career. We have more brands and institutions on board with us this time, to give the parents and the students more options to choose from”, says Mr. Sripal Jain, Founder and CEO of K2 Learning.
