Our filmmakers should be active participants in the fight against social evils like child trafficking and slavery. Films such as Be Humane are a crucial and important tool to raise awareness, awaken moral responsibility and call upon society to act now said Asmita Satyarthi, addressing the gathering immediately after launching the same.

Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi  who awas invited to grace the function couldn’t make it due to his prior engagements, sent his message : “We hope that your silent movie gives voice to the thousands of children who are exploited by child labour. We thank you for your efforts and we hope that you continue to work for children”.

It is highly regrettable that despite of being banned Child Labour still continues.  It is sad to see young boys and girls working at the age where they need to study, said Deputy Chief Minister Rajaiah.

60 million children work as child labour India.  Child Labour is the major issue in India.  Save children, allow them to enjoy their childhood. If Be Humane Short Film can help rescue free children from child labour and send them to school, the objective of the film is met, said Vijay Das, Director of the film

Produced by  Prabhakar Patnaik  “BE Humane”, highlights strong message to eradicate child labor, encourages child education. It is produced to create awareness about the cause of the child labour.

The launch was graced Balaraju, MLA of Achampet, Mrs. Padvathi from Child Labour Dept, RR Desit, RP Patnaik , Music Composer and Film Director; Meghna Jupally, Director Marketing My Home Constructions; Prabhakar Patnaik, Producer and Social Activist, Subbaraju Pericherla, Vishala and others.

“BE Humane” is a silent short movie directed by an award winning director Vijay Das and produced by Sri Prabhakar Patnaik. This fill will be sent to most of the International Film Festivals informed Vijay Das.  Same banner produced earlier a short film ‘Jana Gana Mana’ was on the street children and their understanding about our National anthem and it received many appreciations and awards.

Sponsored and supported by My Home Group, the cast of the film include Krushna Ch Mishra, Ch. Srrutilaya.  The music is scored by Manisharma.  Surya Vinay is the Cinematographer and it is Edited by Karthika Srinivas
