An Ajay Devgn Films presentation by super star Ajay Devgn, Viti Dandu has been directed by Ganesh Kadam with story and screenplay by Vikas Kadam, who has also played a very prominent power packed role in the film. This film has brought together both Dilip Prabhavalkar and Vikas Kadam who have come to the big screen after their stint with the small screen. It would indeed be a grand feast to set eyes on the multi talented actor Ashok Samarth who is presenting a bharud in the garb of a womans attire. Besides this, actor Mrunal Thakurs gracious lavni will also mesmerize the audiences. The title song of the film will unwind the sweet bitter memories of history and endear the audiences to the film.
As some portions of Viti Dandu deals with the pre- Independence period and some with the post independence period, Viti Dandu will recreate different facets of history with different back ground scores for the different eras projected in the film. The film will drive home the poignant message that the independence that we actually unabashedly enjoy today did not come to us very easily but only thanks to the undaunted sacrifices of our ancestors who forged ahead against the British by singing the patriotic song Vande Mataram. Viti Dandu is about the story of a small kid called Govind and revolves around his emotional relationship with his grand father and project the fragile interrelationship that blossoms between the two.
