He has been a face of over 70 TVC’s, & has modelled for a few apparel brands and now he is finally doing what he always dreamt of. Acting! Model-turned-actor Gaurav kothari has a varied list of commercial ads that he’s been a part of. After working for brands like Nikon, parachute oil, Celkon mobile, kurkure, Eveready battery and many more, Gaurav is all set to make his acting debut with the hindi remake of a south Indian blockbuster flick 6-5=2.
Based on a true story 6-5=2 is a film about 6 friends who go trekking & never return. Talking about his character in the film Gaurav says “My character in the film is quite like me funny, entertaining, mischievous and fun loving and so it got even more easier for me to get into the skin of the role. 6-5=2 is very close to my heart not only because it is my first film but also because I had a great time shooting for it”.
Shot mainly in a jungle in Bangalore, the film has some interesting scenes and a spine chilling story line. Gaurav narrates a scary incident that took place when hi was shooting for the film. “There’s this scene in the film were I’m tied up to a tree and while filming the scene I suddenly fainted, when I woke up after nearly half an hour I couldn’t remember anything. It was surprising not only for me but for everyone on the set. The ghostly incident didn’t just end there, I kept getting fearful nightmares for the next couple of days. It was the scariest experience of my life”. says the new comer.
6-5=2 is a film based on a true story that happened in the south. A bunch of 6 friends who went trekking could not be traced back. 6-5=2 releases on 14 November.
