Mumbai: Wagh Bakri Tea Group, today announced its association with Abhishek Sharma’s upcoming Bollywood film ‘The Shaunkeens’. The company has stepped forward with their brand promotion campaign through a strategic tie-up to promote its flagship brand Wagh Bakri Tea. The movie will feature Akshay kumar, Lisa Haydon, Annu Kapoor, Anupam Kher & Piyush Mishra.
This film is a remake of 1982 film Shaukeen directed by legendary Basu Chatterjee starring Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt, A K Hangal & Mithun Chakraborty. The movie is scheduled to release on 7th November, 2014 globally.
Speaking on the strategic tie-up Shri Parag Desai, Executive Director said, “Our association with the Shaukeen shall further consolidate our leading position in our export market globally. To announce the association, the lead actress of the movie Ms. Lisa Haydon was present in Mumbai.
