After a sold-out pre-sale of tickets and a huge social media lineup announcement, the happiest music festival has now released a day-wise lineup of artists performing at the festival, with some important additions to the lineup as well. Critically-acclaimed composer AmitTrivedi, who is making his music festival debut at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender 2014, will now perform at all four editions of the festival. Comedy group All India Bakchod have been added to the lineup of the Delhi edition of the festival (Nov 29-30), while percussionist Selvaganesh will perform at the Pune edition (Nov 21-23). A host of young electronic artists representing some cutting-edge electronic sounds – including OX7GEN, Fuzzy Logic, Nanok, and Norcotiq – have also been added to the festival bill (see detailed, day-wise lineups below).

Bacardi NH7 Weekender has earned the tag of “India’s happiest festival” over the last four years courtesy a precise attention to detail in everything from the artist lineup, to the design of the stages, the art installations at the festival (remember the Rockness Monster and the NH7 Kabootar?), the selection of food, et al. This year, some of the country’s most talented young visual artists have been tasked with designing the visual aesthetic of every individual stage at the festival. Sameer Kulavoor’s unique visual sensibilities will once again greet fans at the Bacardi Arena. Kulavoor (who recently picked up a bunch of Kyoorius Design Awards) is also responsible for the festival’s overall design aesthetic, which has evolved every year and has captured the imagination of design lovers and festival fans alike. TED speaker and INK fellow Shilo Shiv Suleman will recreate some of the magic of The Dewarists in her own unique style, and will also design the MTS Discover Stage at the festival. Live visuals collective Wolves will man the electronic stage at the festival, and bring 3-D projections and more cutting-edge visual sorcery to the festival.

Speaking about art at the festival, <insert Manish quote>

Only Much Louder CEO Vijay Nair adds, “Art and design have been a part of the festival’s soul since the very beginning. We’ve always tried to showcase, alongside the fantastic musical talent, some of the country’s most innovative young visual artists. Fans have loved some of the festival’s unique installations, and design elements like the festival flags and the smiley buntings have grown to be a core part of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender experience. I can’t wait till fans see what we have in store this year.”
Apart from stage design, the festival will also, as with previous years, see a host of unique art installations. The popular AdarshBalakgraphic series will be represented at the Pune edition of the festival through a quirky installation. Artist AyushmanMitra is also creating special installations that will travel to all additions of the festival. More art and design projects at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender 2014 will be announced soon.
