PVR Nest once again brings in cheer for around 700 children in Delhi

Delhi : PVR Nest, the social program and foundation of India’s leading multiplex chain PVR Limited, screens educative and entertaining films for thousands of children from NGO’s and smile 300x225 PVR Nest once again brings in cheer for around 700 children in Delhiaided schools under the aegis of its ‘Films for Change’ program.

PVR Nest witnessed packed auditoriums today with around 700 children witnessing the screening of the inspirational biographical sports drama film, Mary Kom. The children enjoyed our special offering of Popcorn and Pepsi along with the movie that brings to light the making of a true champion, through sheer determination and grit. The film was met with continuous cheer and applause and the screening was a success and an inspirational one.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms Deepa Menon, Vice President- Corporate Social Responsibility at PVR Limited said “Year on year we receive a stirring and warm response from the children that supports our endeavours. We at PVR Nest are pleased to once again bring in festive cheer to these children through the magic of cinema, even while sharing a beautiful and inspiring social message. We are delighted with the enthusiastic response we have received from the kids and NGOs and are thankful to Viacom 18 Motion Pictures for providing us with the film content for the screening of this wonderful film.

PVR Nest encourages and believes in reaching out to and educating the younger generation by integrating them socially. The screening of the film Mary Kom has been special and is an exposure to many children for whom this has been a first time opportunity to watch a movie on a big screen.
