Most of the top Bollywood filmmakers has been generously appreciating Saturday 
Sunday, the first ever Gangster film in Marathi which is directed by Makrand Deshpande. The special show of Saturday Sunday was recently held in a grand manner in Mumbai and the presence of the Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan turned out to be the major attraction of the show. Aamir enjoyed watching the special screening along with prominent actors and technicians from the film industry. Aamir was impressed to see the love of the Marathi film buffs towards the film and the way the auditorium was packed with his fans. After watching the trailer Aamir Khan’s first reaction was very spontaneous. “The film will be super hit. Due to elements like emotions, action and the wide variety of the characters, the film has been successful in engaging the audience. Aamir said, “He also added that if he gets a good script then he will definitely work in a Marathi film in future and produce it as well.”
Saturday Sunday which is produced by Ashwini Rahul productions will be released all over Maharashtra on August 8th. Director Makrand Deshpande expressed the 
view that since the film has received appreciation from none other than Aamir Khan who is known as Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, the film will surely get excellent response.
The film is based on the backdrop of crime and underworld, it has lots of action, emotion, wacky, humor and drama. Hence watching the film will be a treat for the audience. Thanks to the innovative story line of the film and the peppy music watching the film will prove to be a different experience for the film buffs. The viewers will get to watch the brilliant acting skills displayed by noted actors Makrand Deshpande, Murali Sharma, Nagesh Bhosale, Neha Joshi, Amruta Subhash, Amruta Sant, Aseem Hattangadi, Sandesh Upashyam, Umesh Jagtap, Muzaamil Kureshi, Imran Sheikh, Vikram Dahia, Nachiket Joshi, Shailesh Hejmadi, Shreyas Pandit, Ajay Maurya.
Right from the announcement of the film to the release of its trailer, the attendance of prominent Bollywood filmmakers for every event proved to be the highlight of the film. The cherry on the top was Aamir Khan’s presence at the special show which augmented the grandeur of the show. Surely this film delivers a special entertaining package of the weekend for the week and by the weekend.
