New Delhi: - PHD Chamber of Commerce hosted A musical tribute by Bollywood singers to Late R.D. Burman on his 75th birth anniversary. The musical evening witnessed star performances by renowned singers like Vinod Rathore, Harshdeep 
Kaur, Babul Supriyo, Mamta Sharma & Hema Sardesai.
Also, PHD Chambers of Commerce honored the best of the media and TV personalities for their exemplary work and dedication in their field at the first edition of PHD Awards for the Excellence in Entertainment and Media held at Talkatora stadium. PHD Awards for Excellence in entertainment and media were given to media personalities on the basis of their proficiency in different categories.
The final list of awardees were Sonal Kalra: National Editor -Entertainment and Lifestyle, Hindustan Times(Best Entertainment Editor), Ravish Kumar: Executive Editor, NDTV (Best Political Editor), Shweta Rajpal Kohli: Business Journalist, TV News Anchor, Economic Affairs Editor, NDTV (Best Broadcast Journalist), Nayantara Rai: Special Correspondent and Anchor, CNBC Tv 18 (Best Business Anchor), Mayur Shekhar Jha: Senior Editor News 24, Amaar Zaidi: Chief of Economic Bureau, PTI(Best Business Editor),Siddhartha Kumar: National Economic Head,Times of India (Best Business Editor) and Dilbar Gothi: Navbharat Times,Political Editor(Best Political Editor Hindi).
The Chairman of PHD Chamber of Commerce, Shri Sharad Jaypuriya, says that this is the beginning of PHD Excellence Awards in this field, and every year, it would be given to the journalists and artists selected by the Chamber’s committee.
