The young filmmakers of today want to come up with innovative films with their out of the box thinking and naturally want their films to have not only excellent subject but also soulful lyrics and catchy music and piece de resistance performances, besides immaculate direction, because they know that it is only such films that garner eye balls at the cinema houses and go on to conquer the box office. The Marathi film “Yashwanti” which was launched with the unveiling of the poster design.
According to the producer duo Nikhil Bhagat and Dadasaheb Shinde, the film “Yashwanti” will be made with modern technology which is on par with Hollywood. That the mahurat of the film was held in a five star hotel in Mumbai on Saturday June 14, 2014 is by itself.
The highlight of the muhurat was that the poster design of the film was unveiled. This, by itself is the proof of the fact that the producers want to make it on a grand scale and come up with a film of international standards and scale greater heights in Marathi Cinema.
“Yashwanti”, which will be produced under the banner of Shooting Star Entertainment and directed by Jalindar Kumbhar will star a host of talented actors like Kishore Kadam, Rahul Solapurkar, Amey Wagh, Suparna Shyam, Vidhyadhar Joshi, Pooja Pawar, Sagar Talashilkar, Shubhangi Latkar, Pari Telang, Mangesh Kadam. Present at the muhurat besides the director and these actors were Actor-Producer-Director Mahesh Manjrekar, writer Sanjay Pawar, Executive Producer Praveen Wankhede, besides other leading lights from the Marathi film industry.
According to Sanjay Pawar, who has penned the screenplay and the dialogues of the film, the one line of the romantic action packed film is very unique and surprise one and all with its element of novelty. Sanjay added that the film will boast of a story and presentation hitherto one has never seen unfolding on the Marathi screen till date.
The story has been written by the producers Nikhil Bhagat and Dadasaheb Shinde, who assert that their film will cut across age barriers and appeal greatly to people of all ages and walks of life and entertain hugely and are of the opinion that just tickling they funny bone of the audiences does not tantamount to making a comedy but feel that the situational comedy blended with unexpected twists and turns in the happenings in their film will make it a rib tickler of the first order.
The producers are confident that their film will not only prove to be riveting for the fans but also change the way films are being in Marathi by embracing the latest technology to unleash the subject in an interesting manner. According to Praveen Wankhede who has been entrusted with the task of looking after the production of the film for which Ashish Mhatre will be the editor.
